Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the ground beef. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook the beef thoroughly, breaking it apart as it browns, until no pink remains. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before assembling.
  2. Warm the Tortillas: Stack the tortillas on a microwave-safe plate and cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave them for 20-25 seconds to make them soft and pliable, which will make wrapping easier.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay each warmed tortilla flat. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and ketchup evenly on each. Then add 4 pickle slices, 1 slice of American cheese, and about half a cup of the cooked ground beef onto each tortilla.
  4. Wrap Like Burritos: Fold the bottom of each tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides, and continue rolling tightly to create burrito-style wraps. Brush the tops of the wraps with melted butter for a golden finish after air frying.
