Lo Mein Noodles:
Beef:
- 8 oz beef flank steak, thinly sliced
Vegetables:
- 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 4 green onions, sliced
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Others:
- Prepare your ingredients: Slice the beef and vegetables.
- Cook the noodles: Boil water and cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve half a cup of pasta water.
- Sauté the beef: Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the sliced beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from wok and set aside.
- Stir-fry the vegetables: In the same wok, add bell peppers, carrots, and half of the green onions. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Combine everything: Return cooked noodles and beef to the wok. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and reserved pasta water. Toss well until combined.
- Serve immediately: Plate your Beef Lo Mein and garnish with remaining green onions.
