Lo Mein Noodles:

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles

Beef:

  • 8 oz beef flank steak, thinly sliced

Vegetables:

  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 4 green onions, sliced

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Others:

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Slice the beef and vegetables.
  2. Cook the noodles: Boil water and cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve half a cup of pasta water.
  3. Sauté the beef: Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the sliced beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from wok and set aside.
  4. Stir-fry the vegetables: In the same wok, add bell peppers, carrots, and half of the green onions. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Combine everything: Return cooked noodles and beef to the wok. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and reserved pasta water. Toss well until combined.
  6. Serve immediately: Plate your Beef Lo Mein and garnish with remaining green onions.
