For Brownie Batter:

1 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
2 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (optional)
For Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:
1/2 cup Butter (softened)
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Sugar
1 large Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/4 cups Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Chocolate Chips (plus milk chocolate chunks to sprinkle on the top)
Instructions
Brownie Batter: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cocoa, flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into pan and spread evenly.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: Cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top of brownie batter.
Bake for 28 to 32 minutes. Sprinkle with milk chocolate chunks if desired during the last 5 minutes of baking. Cool before cutting.
