For the Potatoes:
- 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage, thinly sliced
- 2 lbs potatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish:
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the smoked sausage slices until fully cooked. Set aside.
- Sauté Onion And Garlic: In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onion and garlic, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, and melted butter. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer To Baking Dish: Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until potatoes are tender and top is golden brown.
