For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
For the Buttered Noodles:
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cook chicken in the skillet for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside to rest.
