Ingredients

Scale

For Beef:

  • 1/2 lb extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning

For Crunchwrap:

  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup jarred nacho cheese sauce or queso (optional; could use more cheese instead)
  • 4 tostadas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup iceberg lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 plum tomato (deseeded and diced)
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded )
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare Beef: Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and taco seasoning, cooking for 7-8 minutes until fully cooked.
  2. Assemble Crunchwraps: Stack 4 of the flour tortillas together. Place a tostada in the middle and cut around it, leaving 1/2 inch of room. Repeat with the remaining tortillas. Add beef, cheese sauce, tostada, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese onto a tortilla. Top with another tortilla.
  3. Cook Crunchwraps: Spray a skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium. Cook each crunchwrap for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Cut in half and serve.

Notes

  • You can customize the fillings to suit your preferences, such as adding jalapenos or guacamole.
  • Ensure the crunchwraps are sealed well to prevent fillings from falling out during cooking.
