  • 2 cans chickpeas (drained)
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 23 cloves of minced garlic

Spices and Vegetables:

  • 1 tsp. masala
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 thinly sliced carrot
  • 1 sliced celery stick
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Goya seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds to a minute until fragrant.
  2. Add drained chickpeas, masala, ground cumin, sliced carrot, sliced celery, a dash of Goya seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and cook for about 10 minutes or until the carrots are tender, stirring occasionally.
