Dry Ingredients:
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 4 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest (2–3 lemons)
- ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Preparation: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Make Batter: Whisk together flour and salt. Cream butter and sugar for 3-4 minutes. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in lemon zest, juice, and vanilla. Fold in flour mixture.
- Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
- Glaze: Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice. Add lemon zest. Pour the glaze over the cooled brownies and let it set for 30 minutes.
