Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking sheet. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  2. Separate Oreos. Carefully pull apart each Oreo cookie so one side is plain and the other has the filling; arrange the plain sides on the lined baking sheet.
  3. Melt the candy. Place the vibrant green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for about 3 minutes, stirring every 15 to 30 seconds to ensure the candy melts smoothly without burning.
  4. Add coconut oil. Stir in the tablespoon of coconut oil into the melted candy melts thoroughly to create a smooth, dip-friendly consistency.
  5. Insert sticks. Dip each sucker stick about half an inch into the melted chocolate and insert it a little below halfway into the Oreo filling, pressing it firmly. Then, place the Oreo tops back onto each cookie, sandwiching the stick inside.
  6. Chill to set sticks. Place the Oreos on the baking sheet and chill for about 5 minutes to allow the sticks to set firmly inside the filling.
  7. Dip Oreos into candy. Pour the melted chocolate into a tall cup. Dip each assembled Oreo completely into the melted candy, ensuring full coverage.
  8. Remove excess chocolate. Lightly tap the stick against the side of the cup and then tap the bottom of the stick on the counter to flatten and remove excess chocolate coating.
