Ingredients

Scale

Cheeseburger Filling

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Dough and Topping

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (about 8 biscuits)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons finely minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat to keep the bombs from being greasy.
  3. Season Beef: Season the beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and the mixture is well combined.
  4. Prepare Biscuit Dough: Roll out each biscuit on a floured surface until approximately 1/4 inch thick to give enough dough to wrap around the filling fully.
  5. Fill and Seal: Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheesy beef mixture in the center of each rolled-out biscuit. Carefully fold the edges of the dough around the filling and pinch to seal tightly, forming a ball. Place each seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet to prevent opening while baking.
  6. Apply Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Use a brush to evenly coat the tops of each cheeseburger bomb with this flavorful garlic butter.
  7. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over each bomb to add a savory, cheesy crust.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Garnish and Serve: Once baked, garnish the bombs with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute refrigerated biscuit dough with homemade biscuit dough if preferred.
  • Ensure the beef is well drained after cooking to avoid greasy bombs.
  • For spicier flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
  • These bombs are best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven to retain crispiness.
  • Feel free to add finely chopped onions or jalapeños to the beef mixture for extra texture and flavor.
