Cool down with a refreshing Mango Iced Tea that combines the bold flavors of black tea with the tropical sweetness of ripe mango. This easy-to-make beverage is perfect for hot summer days or anytime you crave a fruity twist on traditional iced tea.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Tea:

  • 2 Black Tea Bags (or 2 tsp loose leaf tea)
  • 2 cups Water

For the Mango Puree:

  • 1 Ripe Mango (or frozen mango cubes)
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tea: Add 2 cups of boiled water and the tea bags into a large pitcher. Allow it to steep for about 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Mango Puree: Heat 2 cups of water and diced mango in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then simmer for around 10 minutes, mashing the mango into a puree.
  3. Combine and Chill: Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the tea. Add honey and stir well. Let the tea cool down.
  4. Serve: Pour the Mango Iced Tea over ice and garnish with mango slices. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey, depending on your taste preferences.
  • For a stronger tea flavor, steep the black tea longer before mixing with the mango puree.
