Ingredients

Ground Beef:

1 lb

Linguine Pasta:

12 oz

Pasta Water:

2 cups, reserved from cooking the pasta

Garlic Cloves:

4-5, minced

Ginger Paste:

1 tsp

Soy Sauce:

1/4 cup

Brown Sugar:

1/4 cup

Red pepper flakes:

1 pinch (optional)

Hoisin Sauce:

3 tbsp

Ground Black pepper:

1/2 tsp

Cornstarch:

1 tbsp

Cold Water:

2 tbsp

Green Onions:

2-3, sliced (optional)

Sesame Seeds:

1-2 tsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Start cooking pasta in salted boiling water. Cook to al dente, then reserve 2 cups of water before draining.
  2. Brown Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with minced garlic. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Add Flavor: Stir in ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, hoisin sauce, and black pepper.
  4. Thicken Sauce: Mix water and cornstarch, then stir into the meat. Simmer to thicken.
  5. Combine: Stir in 1 cup of pasta water and cooked pasta. Mix well until sauce coats pasta.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
