Ingredients

Scale

Crunchwrap Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup leftover mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup leftover green beans
  • 1.5 cups shredded leftover turkey
  • 1 cup leftover cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup leftover stuffing
  • 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup gravy, warmed, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling Layers: Spread 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes in the center of each flour tortilla. Then carefully layer green beans, shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and shredded white cheddar on top of the mashed potatoes, creating a stacked filling in the middle of each tortilla.
  2. Fold the Tortilla: Fold the tortilla edges inward over the filling to form pleats, creating a neat wrapped pocket. Once wrapped, quickly invert each crunchwrap so the pleated side is on the bottom to help it stay sealed during cooking.
  3. Heat the Pan: Place a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat and add a very thin layer of vegetable oil. Allow the oil to heat just until shimmering but not smoking.
  4. Cook the Crunchwrap: Place one crunchwrap seam-side down in the hot skillet. Cook undisturbed until the bottom is golden brown and crispy, about 3 to 5 minutes. Carefully flip using a spatula and cook the other side for another 3 to 5 minutes until equally golden and heated through.
  5. Repeat and Serve: Repeat the frying process with the remaining crunchwraps. Once all are cooked, cut each crunchwrap in half and serve warm alongside the warmed gravy for dipping.

Notes

  • Use leftover Thanksgiving ingredients or prepare similar components fresh if necessary.
  • Be gentle when folding the tortillas to avoid tearing.
  • Adjust cooking time depending on your stovetop to ensure even browning without burning.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
  • Vegetable oil is preferred for frying due to its neutral flavor and high smoke point.
