  • 20 pitted medjool dates

For the Chocolate Layer:

  • 12 oz. (340 g) chopped chocolate or chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil, optional

For the Peanut Butter and Topping:

  • ¼½ cup (64128 g) natural peanut butter, well stirred
  • ½ cup (60 g) chopped peanuts
  • ½ teaspoon flaky salt, optional

Instructions

  1. Prep: Line a small baking sheet or large plate with parchment paper. Remove pits from dates.
  2. Smash: Open dates, lay flat on parchment paper, cover with another sheet, press to flatten.
  3. Melt: Heat chocolate and coconut oil in microwave until melted.
  4. Layer: Spread peanut butter over dates, drizzle with chocolate, top with peanuts and salt.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for 1 hour or freeze for 20-30 minutes, then cut into pieces.
